🌴🌺💃🏾 As we move on to our next chapter I thought it was only fitting to make our last post my beautiful Havana nights bridal shower! I can’t begin to thank all of our vendor friends who we now call family for answering our calls all these years and showing up when it means the most!

This event was a bitter sweet one as it was the last event that I personally got to design, decorate and coordinate . I know I drove my bridesmaids insane over the months while planning and changing things up but I can’t thank them enough for helping me bring my vision to life. Well.. the time has come🥹. As Kayla and I have mentioned a couple months ago, we were in process of transitioning out of the event space world. Over the last 3 years, our lives have evolved and grown! And because of this, we have decided to do what’s best for us and take a step back.

BUT WE ARE FINE! ❤️ Our decision comes from a healthy place and we are excited for the things that are to come! We would like to thank all of our vendor friends-many that have turned into close friends. You guys have helped immensely with what Socialite has turned into and we humbly ask that you guys continue to support it. To all of our customers, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUPPORTING US!❤️ Many of you have booked with us multiple times, which is the greatest compliment we have received over these last 3 years. Thank you all for the support.

Though Kayla and I are stepping away and returning back to rentals, THE SOCIALITE IS STAYING! We were fortunate to interview quite a few people to take over as new owners. We are happy to announce that the torch has been passed to a couple that are EAGER to move forward and we cannot be more excited for them! We’ve been keeping this under wraps for some time now, but finally are able to share! I have the absolute pleasure of working next to the Capital One Cafe in Downtown Detroit! I spend enough time there to where I’ve become a Capital One Cafe Regular! Therefore, I’ve been selected to shoot a video with them that gives a glimpse of my day-to-day and how the Cafe has become my place of Woosah in between, which has become my midday necessity.
