🌴🌺💃🏾 As we move on to our next chapter I thought it was only fitting to make our last post my beautiful Havana nights bridal shower! I can’t begin to thank all of our vendor friends who we now call family for answering our calls all these years and showing up when it means the most!

This event was a bitter sweet one as it was the last event that I personally got to design, decorate and coordinate . Well.. the time has come🥹. As Kayla and I have mentioned a couple months ago, we were in process of transitioning out of the event space world. Over the last 3 years, our lives have evolved and grown! And because of this, we have decided to do what’s best for us and take a step back.

BUT WE ARE FINE! ❤️ Our decision comes from a healthy place and we are excited for the things that are to come! We would like to thank all of our vendor friends-many that have turned into close friends. I spend enough time there to where I’ve become a Capital One Cafe Regular! Time really does fly by! Although we have had our building since Oct 2021 we officially announced opening 1 year ago today! We truly want to thank everyone who has supported us through this journey! We’ve been blessed to meet some amazing people and host some beautiful events at the Socialite.

When we 1st took on this journey we thought we could hire a contractor and sit back and watch, boy were we wrong! From the epoxy floors, paint on the walls, tile on the floor, drop ceiling, kitchen cabinets and much much more we had to lean on each other and make it happen. All I can say is thank god for YouTube!

There were many times we wanted to give up and throw in the towel but because of the support of our amazing friends, family and clients we kept going and the Socialite is what it is today because of it.
